CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) is a philanthropy that has been so close to our Theta hearts as it has helped over 250,000 abused and neglected children find safe homes in a better overall environment. Children are such innocent beings that do not deserve the disrespect and neglect they may receive at their homes.
CASA has been Kappa Alpha Theta's main philanthropy for more than 25 years now. There are more than 76,000 GAL/CASA volunteers that help the organization all over the United States in over 1,000 CASA programs in 49 different states and the District of Columbia.
The Eta Pi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta is For The Child, and we believe that every child should be able to live a healthy and happy life, both emotionally and physically. We dedicate our time and our philanthropic events throughout the year toward this movement.
