The sisters of Kappa Alpha Theta participate in mixers and philanthropy events of other Greek groups on campus, along with events sponsored by Greek Life. We love to be involved on campus and we feel so lucky to be a part of such a wonderful community at Case Western!
Mixing with other Greeks is just one of the many benefits of joining Greek Life. Sisters of Eta Pi have been introduced to a whole other aspect of the Case Community as Mixers offer the opportunity to partake in a fun activity while getting to know the differing personalities found within neighboring fraternities and sororities!
One of the most rewarding aspects of Theta is the sisters that we are surrounded with. However, life at CWRU can get really hectic and busy, so we are sure to set aside time for sisters every couple of weeks to just hang out and have fun! Sisterhoods are usually held at our facility, but we have gone off campus before - we went to the Legacy Village Francesca's for a private shopping event once! We have also had fondue sisterhoods, crafting sisterhoods, and movie marathon sisterhoods!
In addition, once per year we hold a sisterhood retreat, which is usually a day long or overnight trip, with the focus on growing our sisterhood. This past fall, we had the amazing opportunity to spend a weekend at Beulah Beach in Vermillion, OH. We had such a wonderful time - and everyone agreed that we really strengthened our bond and grew as a chapter.
Every fall semester, we plan a fun, low-key event for sisters and friends to enjoy. In the past couple of years, we've gone downtown to see the Cavs play, relived our childhoods at Dave & Busters, and battled it out during Whirley Ball/Laser Tag!
Every spring semester, we hold a formal dinner & dance event! Past venues have included the Arcade Downtown and Western Reserve Historical Society. It is always a blast, and there's amazing food - which our sisters go crazy for!
